Great service! We had a party of 13 and they accomodated us easily. We came around 5:30 and didn't have to wait for a table.
Props on them for offering so many different Vietnamese dishes because most places usually just have a speciality. Food was good and came out in a timely manner. Their large bowls are L A R G E!!!
Would definitely come back if I was in the area and wanted some comfort food! -

Best ox tail pho ever! The portion is also good. Order the large bowl of pho or an extra side of ox tail, you won't regret for it!
Spring roll is also one of the best. -

My normal order is the #40. The wontons can be a hit or miss in there, I don't think they are homemade. I had the chicken wings before, def frozen then fried. You can just tell.
Soup broth for the chicken soup is decent, comforting. Service is here or there, but I am used to this type of service. Last time I went in took me for ever to get someone to get me more water. By the time I got someones attention my soup was cold, very disappointed in that.
Decent food, meh service. -

Came here 2 nights ago for dinner I did not know what to expect because this was my 1st time eating Pho. I had always thought it was like ramen. Was seated very quickly not a big establishment nothing fancy about it It felt very authentic. I ended up ordering the veggie Spring rolls, the wings as appetizers, and the chicken and shrimp Pho with vegetables.
It was good I ended up adding sriracha because I like spicy but over all it was a good 1st time experience. -

Came here during a weekday lunch, and was surprised at how pack this place was! Pro tip 1: come early!
I ended up ordering the dry vermicelli bowl (pork + shrimp), and it was not that great.
Unfortunately, someone in my party had a BUG in their bowl of pho. I suspect it came from the vegetables (ie: bean sprouts, basil leaves, lime wedges). They were going to replace it, but we didn't have enough time since it took them a while to bring out our food. At the end, they did not charge.
Service: only one person spoke English, so it was a bit difficult to flag them down and ask for help.
Overall, not that impressed with this location. I would be cautious in coming again...but not a bad option if you are craving pho on Castro.
